About Me
I am Uzma, an Integrative Psychotherapist offering a calm, supportive space where you can explore what has been difficult at your own pace and without judgement. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, supporting people through emotional challenges, trauma, and life transitions.
My work is trauma-informed and shaped around each individual, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches and creative methods where helpful. I am particularly mindful of the role that culture, family, and lived experience play in how we cope and relate.
At the heart of my practice is a collaborative relationship, built on trust, compassion, and understanding.

About Me:
Resolute and compassionate, I am a psychotherapist specialising in integrative psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. With a master’s degree in integrative psychotherapy, I combine various modalities, including psychodynamic, person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), to tailor interventions to meet each client's unique needs. I use creative approaches to deliver therapy to my younger clients and incorporate my unique strategies to meet the needs of all my clients. I specialise in trauma-informed care for individuals of all ages, addressing various types of trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and intergenerational trauma. Utilising evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, play therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, I provide tailored support to help clients heal and achieve emotional well-being. My culturally sensitive practice ensures a safe and inclusive environment for all. I am fluent in languages such as Urdu/Hindi and Punjabi, allowing me to communicate with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds effectively .I facilitate workshops to equip parents with practical strategies for identifying signs of distress, fostering resilience, and promoting positive coping skills in their children. By empowering parents with knowledge and resources, I create a supportive environment for children's mental health within life and in the school community. Committed to prioritising the safety and well-being of those under my care, I maintain rigorous training in safeguarding and utilise sound clinical skills and risk assessments to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals. I stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices and policies, dedicated to achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for those I serve.
